Wednesday, November 15, 2006 ::: THE SWEET ESCAPE (Album above: Cover artwork is a bit dodgy for me, but otherwise from what I've heard it sounds quite good. It's better than what I expected. As Gwen says this is more 'now' - it's not so retro anymore (the factor that made her last album awesome), but good thing is apart from the R&B stuff (produced by the Neptunes...) there is actually a track that sounds a lot like Depeche Mode! But it does annoy me some bits of the album sounds like Beyonce or Kelis rejects and that, is not so good. And that album title pretty much sums up what the past 5 days were to me. The sweet escape. I didn't write after exams because I didn't have the time to. And that can only be fantastic. And finally I'm about to write something because if I don't then it's the start of a new module and by that time it'll seem a bit odd that I'd be talking about my post exam bash. Right? So what kept me so busy? 1. Flight Simulator X This, is the shit. My favorite past time now is to drive a jet. 2. Some DVDs. Concert DVDs, TV shows, etc. Can somebody explain why a movie like this requires so much brain power? And I don't fully understand the story. Somebody care to explain? But you know what I can't be more thrilled - I finally have time for movies and DVDs and even rewatching some of my favorite Corrs DVDs! 3. Joining the ~~mile high~~ book club The amazing new book that I'm reading right now. Revisiting the joy of reading. Reading can be so much fun, folks, when it's some light reading packed with some humor and jokes that's so NOT part of my profession. I'm still at page 80 only, but I suspect it will eventually lead to the topic of mile high club. I'll let you know later if I'm right or not, folks. I can't tell you exactly why but I'm so happy these 5 days. But somewhere, sometime, I think, a little bit something else would make it all even better. Anyways.
